Hey guys,
We all understand the facts and mysteries behind the different religions present in the world today. I have observed most religions have strict policies and rules on how to run its institution on their followers. I believe religion has caused more harm than good these days.
Religion causes us to live under the tyranny of the “should and ought”. Religious rules and regulations steal peace and joy. Why? They rob us of what Jesus died to give us. “We become works oriented, rather than faith oriented.
Religion is filled with rules and regulations one must follow to be part of a certain religious group. Christianity, however, is agreeing to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit entirely.

Jesus intends Christianity to be simple, but religion and its systems can become very complicated and confusing. For example, Paul talks about how “to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
In Philippians 3:7-9, Paul talks about how everything else in this world is garbage compared to his relationship with Jesus Christ. He knew that nothing else in this world even mattered. God was number one in Paul’s life. I don’t know about you, but that can be a pretty difficult thing to do. It’s so easy to put other things in that number one place in our lives: school, work, family, friends, relationships, anything that we find important. But Paul shows us that when it’s all said and done, the only thing that matters is our relationship with God and that He is number one in our lives.
Lastly, Christianity is not a religion, but a belief.
